About the MLS schedule

This is the 2026 MLS schedule, game night by game night, with start times in US Eastern and the venue for each match. Final scores go in as games end, so the same list doubles as a results page for all 30 clubs.

The regular season opened on February 21 and paused from May 25 to July 16 for the FIFA World Cup, which is why June has no games. Play resumed in mid-July for the stretch run to Decision Day on Saturday, November 7, and the playoffs begin after the November international break.

How to use the MLS schedule

  • Pick a month to list its games night by night, with Eastern start times and the stadium for each.
  • The page opens on the month of the next MLS game, flagged with a Next up tag.
  • Completed games are marked Final with the score, so recent results sit alongside upcoming games.
  • The snapshot box counts the season's games, teams and game nights, plus how many games are played and left.
  • For the playoff race, the MLS standings show both conferences with the playoff and wild card lines marked.

MLS schedule FAQ

What is Decision Day, and when is it in 2026?

It is the final day of the regular season, Saturday, November 7, 2026. All Eastern Conference matches kick off at 4 p.m. ET and all Western Conference matches at 7 p.m. ET, so the standings and the playoff seeds are settled that evening.

How is the 34-game MLS schedule put together?

Thirty-four, split evenly between home and away. A club plays each of its 14 conference rivals twice, which makes 28 games, and faces six different teams from the other conference once each.

When is MLS Cup 2026?

Friday, December 18, 2026, in prime time, at the stadium of whichever finalist finished higher in the Supporters' Shield standings. The playoffs open with Wild Card games on November 18, and this is the last MLS Cup set for December before the league moves to a summer-to-spring calendar.

When does the next MLS season start?

In February 2027, with a one-off Sprint Season: 14 games per club, one against each conference rival, from February to April, then playoffs and MLS Cup in May. The first summer-to-spring season follows from July 2027 to May 2028, with a winter break from mid-December to early February.
