The break starts after matchday 14, on the weekend of December 13, 2026. Play resumes with matchday 15 on the weekend of January 3, 2027, and no game is scheduled for Friday, January 1.
Are there midweek Ligue 1 matchdays this season?
No. The league's official 2026-27 calendar contains no midweek matchday, so all 34 rounds fall on weekends between late August and the closing day on May 29, 2027.
When is the Ligue 1 relegation playoff?
The two legs are on Thursday, June 3 and Sunday, June 6, 2027. The club that finishes 16th in Ligue 1 faces the winner of the Ligue 2 playoffs, and the aggregate winner takes the last place in next season's top flight.
