Six Nations Table 2026
Four points for a win and two for a draw, plus bonus points: one for scoring 4 or more tries, and one for losing by 7 or fewer; a Grand Slam is worth 3 more. Teams level on points are split by points difference, then tries scored. There are no play-offs: the top of the table wins the championship. The Six Nations predictor plays out the rest.

About the Six Nations table
The Six Nations table ranks the six teams on championship points: four for a win, two for a draw, a try bonus point for four or more tries and a losing bonus point for losing by seven or fewer. A team that wins all five games, the Grand Slam, gets three more points, which guarantees it finishes first even against a team with four wins and every bonus point available.
Teams level on points are separated by points difference and then by tries scored. There are no play-offs: first place wins the championship. The 2026 table is final, with France on 21 points ahead of Ireland on 19, and it stays here until the 2027 championship kicks off on 5 February.
How to use the Six Nations table
- The green row is the champion. TB and LB are try and losing bonus points.
- If a team wins the Grand Slam, its points carry a GS mark showing the three bonus points are included.
- The Six Nations fixtures list every result with its tries.
Six Nations table FAQ
Why is there a Grand Slam bonus in the Six Nations?
Without it, a team that won all five games but scored few tries could finish behind a team that lost once but collected bonus points. Five wins are worth at least 20 points plus 3 for the Grand Slam, 23 in all, while four wins and a defeat can reach at most 22.
What is the Triple Crown?
A trophy within the Six Nations for England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales beating the other three. It does not add points to the table. Ireland won it in 2026.
