The 2027 Super Rugby Pacific season starts on Friday, 12 February 2027. The Hurricanes won the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific title, beating the Chiefs 60-5 in the final. Super Rugby Pacific drops to ten teams in 2027 after Moana Pasifika’s exit: each plays 16 games over 17 rounds, the top two go straight to the semi-finals and third to sixth play elimination finals, with the Grand Final on Saturday 26 June 2027.

About the Super Rugby Pacific draw
The Super Rugby Pacific draw on this page lists every game of the season round by round, with venues and kick-off times in New Zealand time (NZST or NZDT), and the score and tries once a game is played. The 2027 draw is already out: ten teams, 17 rounds and 80 regular-season games, starting on Friday 12 February 2027 with the Crusaders against the Queensland Reds in Christchurch.
The 2027 competition has ten teams after Moana Pasifika's exit: the Blues, Chiefs, Crusaders, Highlanders and Hurricanes from New Zealand, the Brumbies, Reds, Waratahs and Western Force from Australia, and the Fijian Drua. Each plays 16 games with one bye. The finals follow, with the Grand Final on Saturday 26 June 2027.

How do the 2027 Super Rugby Pacific finals work?
Six teams qualify. First and second go straight to the semi-finals; third hosts sixth and fourth hosts fifth in sudden-death elimination finals. The top seed then plays the lowest-ranked winner, the second seed the other, and the winners meet in the Grand Final.
