About the Serie A fixtures

The 2026-27 season runs from the weekend of August 22-23, 2026 to May 30, 2027, with each of the 20 clubs playing 38 games. Inter start as champions after winning the league and the Coppa Italia, and Venezia, Frosinone and Monza are back from Serie B in place of Cremonese, Hellas Verona and Pisa.

When is the final round of Serie A 2026-27?
The 38th and final round is on May 30, 2027, after a start on the weekend of August 22-23, 2026. The Coppa Italia final comes shortly before, on May 19, 2027.
Which Serie A rounds are played midweek in 2026-27?
Only two: Wednesday, October 28, 2026 and Wednesday, January 6, 2027, the Epiphany holiday. The other 36 rounds are all played over weekends.
When does Serie A pause for international breaks?
There is no Serie A on the weekends of September 27 and October 4, November 15, 2026 and March 28, 2027, when national teams play. The league also takes a Christmas break on the weekend of December 27, 2026.
