Tennis on Vertize Sports
Tennis scores, draws and results from the ATP and WTA tours start here, with a direct route to the tournaments in play this week. The Scores section carries every draw of each event, men's and women's, singles and doubles, followed round by round until the final.
The two main professional tours are the ATP for men and the WTA for women, and both are built on a similar ladder. Above everything sit the four Grand Slams; below them come the 1000-level events, nine on the 2026 ATP calendar and ten on the WTA's, then the 500 and 250 tournaments, each named for the ranking points its champion earns.

Tennis FAQ
What are the four Grand Slam tournaments?
The Australian Open, Roland Garros (the French Open), Wimbledon and the US Open. In 2026 they were played in Melbourne from January 18 to February 1, in Paris from May 24 to June 7, in London from June 29 to July 12 and in New York from August 30 to September 13. Each champion earns 2,000 ranking points.
How do ATP and WTA rankings work?
Both tours add up the ranking points a player has earned over the previous 52 weeks, so each result drops off a year later. Up to 18 tournaments count toward the total, and qualifiers for the season-ending Finals add those points as a 19th.
When are the 2026 ATP and WTA Finals?
In November. The WTA Finals, moved from Riyadh in July, are at Indian Wells, California, on November 8-15, and the ATP Finals are in Turin on November 15-22. Each is contested by eight singles players and eight doubles teams who qualify on the season's results.
