College football does not have a league table in any normal sense. Teams play twelve games out of a possible hundred and thirty opponents, so where a team stands is decided by a poll rather than by arithmetic. The section is built around that fact.
The schedule
The FBS season week by week, with kick-off times and the ground each game is played at. Each week has its own page, which matters more here than anywhere else: college football is watched by the week, and a link to Week 8 should open Week 8.
Ranked teams carry their ranking next to their name, so a top-ten matchup is visible at a glance instead of having to be looked up.
The rankings
The AP Top 25 as it stands, updated as the poll moves through the season. This is the closest thing the sport has to a table, and it is the number that decides who plays in January.
What is not here yet
There is no simulator for college football on the site. That is deliberate rather than an oversight: simulating a sport decided by a human poll means simulating the voters, not the games, and a tool that guesses at that would be making things up. If it arrives, it will be built around the playoff bracket, which is arithmetic, rather than around the poll, which is not.
