The NBA section is built around the two things the season keeps asking. Who plays tonight, and what would it take for my team to move up.
The schedule
Every game of the regular season, night by night, with tip-off times in US Eastern and the arena each one is played at. Games that have finished carry their scores. The NBA Cup rounds are labelled where they fall, so a Cup night does not look like an ordinary Tuesday.
The simulator
It works on records and conference position, which is how basketball is actually decided, rather than on the points-and-difference logic a soccer table uses.
You type the score of any game still to be played. Each result moves both teams inside their conference, and the standings reorder underneath: the top six, the play-in places from seventh to tenth, and everyone below. The seeding is the whole story in a league where the difference between fourth and fifth is home advantage in April, so it updates as you go rather than at the end. Simulate season and Simulate night fill in the scores for you.
Everything already played stays locked. You are not rewriting the season, you are finishing it.
