Markers highlight the places that lead to the Champions League and the Europa League, plus the two positions that bring automatic relegation.
The last of the 306 games is scheduled for Saturday, May 29, 2027. Paris Saint-Germain defend the title after sealing a fifth consecutive championship last season with a 2-0 win at Lens, the runners-up, with one round to spare.

Four under UEFA's current allocation. France is fifth in the association ranking, so the top three go straight into the league phase and fourth must come through qualifying, the route Lyon took after finishing fourth in 2025-26.
Which Ligue 1 places lead to the Europa League and Conference League?
Finishing fifth is worth a Europa League place, and so is winning the Coupe de France; sixth earns a spot in the Conference League playoff round. When the cup winner is already qualified through the league, sixth inherits that Europa League place and seventh takes the Conference League berth, which in 2026 meant Rennes and Monaco.
How are Ligue 1 teams separated when level on points?
Overall goal difference comes first. Next are points won in the matches between the tied clubs, then goal difference in those games, then total goals scored, number of wins, away wins and a disciplinary count, with a drawing of lots as the final resort.
How many teams are relegated from Ligue 1?
Two go down automatically, 17th and 18th, and a third can follow through the playoff. The 16th-placed side meets the Ligue 2 playoff winner over two legs; in 2026 Nice held on that way, beating Saint-Étienne 4-1 on aggregate, while Nantes and Metz were relegated.
