About the NHL Canadian teams
This page puts the seven Canadian NHL teams side by side: the Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators in the Atlantic Division, the Winnipeg Jets in the Central, and the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks in the Pacific. The table orders them by their place in the league and shows each team's record, points, points percentage and whether it is in a playoff spot today.
No Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup since the Montreal Canadiens in 1993. Canadian clubs have reached the Final since then, Vancouver in 1994 and 2011, Calgary in 2004, Edmonton in 2006, 2024 and 2025, Ottawa in 2007 and Montreal in 2021, and lost every time. In 2026 Montreal went furthest, losing the Eastern Conference Final to Carolina, the eventual champions.
How to use the NHL Canadian teams
- The playoff spot column reads "Atlantic 2" for a team in its division's top three, "Wild card 1" or "2" for a wild card, and how many points back the rest are.
- The games below the table cover the seven days starting from the next game, with times in Eastern Time (ET).
- Each team name opens its own page, with the full schedule in that city's time: ET in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa, CT in Winnipeg, MT in Calgary and Edmonton, PT in Vancouver.
