Form and the table
Fulham are 20th with two points from two draws and four defeats. They are one of three clubs still without a league win, with AFC Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur, who are 18th and 19th on three points; Sunderland, 17th on four, hold the first place above the relegation zone. A win would take Fulham to five points, level with Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa as things stand.
Fulham's last five league games read L, L, D, D, L: a 1-0 defeat at Sunderland, a 3-2 home defeat to Crystal Palace, a 0-0 draw at Liverpool, a 1-1 home draw with Manchester United and a 2-1 defeat at Ipswich Town on 10 October. Their season opened with a 3-2 home defeat to Chelsea. They led in both of the last two games and won neither: Manchester United equalized in the 87th minute at Craven Cottage, as the club's website recalled, and Ipswich answered Ryan Sessegnon's 55th-minute goal with two goals from the 88th minute on. Away from the league, Fulham won 3-2 at West Ham United in the Carabao Cup on 15 September.
Hull are eighth with nine points from two wins, three draws and one defeat. They are one of four clubs on nine points, with Leeds United, Liverpool and Ipswich Town, and one point behind fourth-placed Brentford; a win would take them to 12. Their last five league games read W, D, D, L, D: a 1-0 win at Coventry City, a 0-0 home draw with Aston Villa, a 2-2 draw at Chelsea, a 2-1 defeat at Newcastle United and a 2-2 home draw with Everton on Sunday 11 October. They opened the season by beating Manchester United 2-0 and are unbeaten at home, with one win and two draws. In the Carabao Cup, Hull lost 1-0 at Sunderland on 8 September.
Arbeloa still waiting for a first league win
Alvaro Arbeloa, who replaced Marco Silva in the summer, has not won any of his first six Premier League games as Fulham manager. On Monday 12 October, Sports Mole reported, citing the Standard, that Arbeloa had been given two matches to save his job, and that failing to beat at least one of Hull and Coventry City, both newly promoted, could lead to his removal. After Hull, Fulham's next league game is at Coventry City on Saturday 24 October, as our Premier League fixtures show.
In comments published by fulhamfc.com on Monday, Sessegnon said the squad was frustrated and had to demand more of itself and stay united.
We need to keep fighting hard to get that first win.

Team news
Fulham had not announced any new injuries by Wednesday. The latest list we found, Sports Mole's Premier League injury list for matchweek 6, published on 9 October, had Antonee Robinson (ankle) and Tom Cairney (knee) as doubts; neither played at Portman Road.
We found no Hull injury update from after the Everton game by Wednesday. Before that game, Sports Mole's Hull City team news, published on 10 October, listed Eliot Matazo (ACL), Ilyas Ansah (back), Darko Gyabi (groin) and Jack Butland (arm) as out, and Charlie Hughes, Matt Targett, Brooke Norton-Cuffy, Tim Iroegbunam and Hidemasa Morita as doubts. Iroegbunam and Morita both came off the bench against Everton. Neither club had a player sent off in matchweek 6.
