The NFL section does two jobs. The schedule tells you who plays whom and when. The simulator answers the question the schedule provokes, which in this league is almost always about seeding.
The schedule
Every game of the regular season, laid out by week, with kick-off times in US Eastern and the stadium each one is played at. Weeks that have finished carry their scores; weeks still to come carry their times.
Each week also has its own page, so a link to Week 12 goes straight to Week 12 rather than dumping you at the top of a season-long list.
The simulator, and why it is not the soccer one
A soccer simulator adds up points and goal difference. That is useless here. The NFL is decided on win-loss records inside two conferences, so the simulator is built around records and seeding instead.
You type a score into any game still to be played, and what counts is the result it gives: a win, a loss or, once in a long while, a tie. Every result moves teams up and down their conference, and the seeding rearranges as you go. That is the part people actually want to see: not who beats whom in Week 9, but what Week 9 does to the playoff picture in January.
