Soccer is the largest section on Vertize Sports, and the one with the most finished machinery behind it. Every competition here gives you the same three things: the full season fixture list, the table as it stands, and a simulator that turns the two into a question you can answer yourself.
The competitions that are live
Twenty of them, and all of them carry real data rather than a placeholder:
- England: Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, National League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup
- Spain: La Liga and LaLiga 2
- Italy: Serie A and Serie B
- Germany: Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga
- France: Ligue 1 and Ligue 2
- Elsewhere: MLS, Allsvenskan, Eliteserien, Superliga and the A-League
The lower divisions matter more than they look. A Championship or League Two table is far harder to find in a readable form than a Premier League one, and those are the seasons where a simulator earns its keep, because nobody can hold a 46-game promotion race in their head.
What the simulator actually does
It starts from the real table, not from zero. Every match already played is locked, because those are facts and not predictions. What is left is the rest of the season, matchday by matchday, and you fill it in.
Put a score in and the table rearranges underneath you straight away: points, goal difference, and the lines that decide the season. The Champions League places, the Europa League spot, the relegation trapdoor. You see the consequence of a result at the same time as you type it, which is the whole point.
The cups work differently, and they have to. A knockout tie is not decided by a scoreline you invent, it is decided by who goes through. So the Carabao Cup simulator has no score boxes at all: you click the team that advances, and the winners move on to the next round. The FA Cup has its fixtures here, but no simulator yet.
Where the numbers come from
Fixtures, results and tables all come from the same public feed, refreshed through the day. What you see on the fixture list is what happened, and the table under the simulator is the real one on the morning you open it.
