About the Superliga simulator

With this Danish Superliga simulator you can play out what is left of the 2026-27 regular season: fill in any match that has not been played and the table reorders itself immediately. The model can also complete the remaining games for you, either the whole lot or a single matchday.

The line that matters most sits between sixth and seventh. Once round 22 is done, the league divides into a title group and a relegation group of six clubs each, so the simulator shows which side of that line each club would end up on.

How to use the Superliga simulator

  • Click into any open match, type the score, and the standings recalculate straight away.
  • Simulate season completes the regular season with model scores; Simulate matchday handles only the current round.
  • Played matches are locked at their real results, so every projection starts from the actual table.
  • Clear empties every score you entered in one click.
  • In the projected table, the top six are flagged for the championship round and the bottom six for the relegation round.

Superliga simulator FAQ

Does the simulator include the championship and relegation rounds?

No. It plays out the 22-round regular season, the part of the calendar that decides the split. Once the remaining matches are filled in, the projected table shows which six clubs would enter the championship round and which six would drop into the relegation round.

Do points carry over after the Superliga split?

Yes, in full. Every point and goal from the 22-round regular season goes with each club into its group, and the title is decided on the combined total after 32 rounds, so a lead built before the split still counts.

Where do the Superliga simulator's team strengths come from?

From the 2025-26 Superliga: a club's goal difference per game that season sets its rating, and scores are drawn from a Poisson distribution with a small home advantage. Lyngby and AC Horsens, promoted from the 1st Division, had no Superliga record, so the model starts them below average.
